The Uncle Nearest brand, owned entirely by Uncle Nearest, Inc., a minority-led company led by Fawn Weaver, features a premium-aged whiskey portfolio. This includes a blend of 8- to 14-year-old whiskeys, an 11-year-old single barrel, and a 7-year-old small batch, all mellowed using the Lincoln County Process—a distinctive method of filtering bourbon through sugar maple charcoal. This technique, introduced to Tennessee by enslaved individuals and taught by Nearest Green to a renowned Tennessee whiskey maker, is a key component of the brand's heritage.
