    Crafted by Japan's sole Female Master Brewer and Distiller, Serena Nishihira, this unique shochu is predominantly crafted from locally sourced sugar cane cultivated on Amami Island. The cane is meticulously processed into natural sugar through boiling and drying, then undergoes fermentation with koji rice before distillation. Brimming with vitality, this spirit promises to expand your idea of the possibilities of shochu!

    About The Producer

    Honkaku Spirits

    Serena Nishihira, a fourth-generation distiller and Japan's youngest female master brewer-distiller, is continuing her family's legacy at Hishihira Distillery, which spans 95 years. Following a career as a professional musician, she returned to Kyushu with the condition that she could pursue her musical passion alongside making shochu. In agreement with her family, they established a music venue adjacent to the distillery where she performs during the off-season of brewing.
