What the heck is Piquette? A low alcohol wine made from the second pressing of grape pomace... TLDR: it's what you should be drinking instead of that artificially flavored seltzer, we will leave names out of it. Made from wine grapes and just boozy enough to get the party started this is a can you will be coming back to all summer (and spring and fall) long.
About The Producer
What started as a farm rescue for the Baker family, turned into Old Westminster Winery. Located in Carrol County, their 17-acre farm was once rented to local farmers (never farmed by the Baker family) until their mother, Virginia, had the idea to grow grapes. Siblings Drew, Lisa and Ashli are responsible for helping to put Maryland Wines on the map, “building a model of Maryland winemaking that leans into the region’s limitations rather than trying to patch them up.” Old Westminster Winery creates delicious wines of all styles for a little taste of Maryland with every sip.
