"Grande Rando is a field blend that includes Grenache, Carignane, Cinsault, and Clairette. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in tank with indigenous yeasts for 9 days. An assemblage of “free run” and “pressed” wine is made and then matured for six months in both tank and three year old barrels." Distributor notes
About The Varietal
Grenache Blanc is a white grape variety that evolved from the darker-skinned Grenache Noir. While it originates from northeastern Spain, Grenache Blanc is most renowned for its contribution to southern French white wines, especially as a component of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape blend.
