Cellers Can Blau "Mas de Can Blau" (Montsant, SP) 8R

The Garnacha vineyards, planted on metamorphic rock soils known as llicorella, combined with Cariñena vines in clay soils and Syrah in limestone soils, produce a wine of great complexity, aged in French oak barrels.

    About The Varietal

    Carignan

Carignan is a grape variety with dark skin, believed to have originated in Aragon. This grape is prevalent in wines produced along the Mediterranean coast, particularly in northeastern Spain and the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. It is frequently used for blending with other significant regional grape varieties, including Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre.
