2023 Red Tail Ridge "Good Karma" Riesling (Finger Lakes, NY) 3W

Good Karma is wine you can feel good about drinking because 10% of the profits of Good Karma goes directly to Food Banks across the country to support food insecure people. Thus off dry style of riesling is a classic expression of what the Finger Lakes are famous for. Kiwi and lime dominate the palate with enough refreshing acidity to make you want to keep drinking it. Perfect for summer time or anytime.

    About The Varietal

    Riesling

Regarded as one of the finest white wine varieties globally, the aromatic and fresh Riesling often navigates between the pristine purity of its German expressions and the intricate complexities of its Alsatian counterparts. Its worldwide presence spans a range of styles, from dry to sweet, defying easy categorization and frequently exceeding simplistic judgments at all levels.

    About The Producer

    Red Tail Ridge

Red Tail Ridge Winery specializes in limited-production wines, believing quality is more important than quantity. They produce small lots (sometimes less than 50 cases) to further preserve and enhance the varietal characteristics that they generate in the vineyard. Sensing the potential of the Finger Lakes wine region in the 90s, husband and wife Nancy and Mike established Red Tail Ridge in 2005 after purchasing undeveloped land the year prior. IT took them three years to plant the vineyards, which now have about 20 acres. Nancy and Mike have been challenging mainstream thinking with their plantings of nontraditional grapes in the Finger Lakes.
