About The Varietal
Muscat Blanc, known as Moscato Bianco in Italy, is the most ancient member of the Muscat family, making it one of the oldest grape varieties globally. It is extensively cultivated across both Europe and the New World, resulting in numerous regional synonyms. This grape can be crafted into various wine styles and sweetness levels, each reflecting regional traditions. Dry varietal wines often exhibit citrus, floral, and spice aromas with a full, dry palate. Sparkling and semi-sparkling versions are generally sweeter, featuring melon flavors and sweet, grapey aromas.
