Slightly more fruit and body thanks to warmer climates and riper grapes

2022 Montenidoli Rosado (Tuscany, IT) 3P

Full of taste, with a rich texture. Abundant with lively, velvety fruit flavors like plums, cherries, and citrus at the beginning, leading to a crisp, refreshing, and dry ending. A hint of minerality elevates the wine to a superior level. Crafted entirely from Canaiolo grapes cultivated organically in San Gimignano, Tuscany.

    About The Varietal

    Canaiolo

Canaiolo is a grape variety with dark skin that historically formed the majority of the Chianti blend until the late 19th Century. Today, it continues to be cultivated in central Italy, with the majority of plantings, approximately 90 percent, located in Tuscany. Canaiolo is commonly used as a blending grape in a wide variety of wines based on the Sangiovese grape.
