About The Producer
One of the top producers in Sonoma County for the past 45 years, Matanzas Creek has established deep roots within its California landscape. Originating with socialite Sandra MacIver and Merry Edwards back in 1977, the winery is now owned by Jess Jackson and Barbara Banke with the help of Chilean winemaker Marcia Torres-Forno. From 2017 to today, all estate vineyards are sustainably farmed and certified under the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance as they continue to embrace the estate's legacy of limited production, terroir-driven wines.
