Cortese is a white grape variety best recognized for its role in producing the vibrant, lime-scented wines of Gavi. This grape is distinguished by its invigorating acidity and its capacity to maintain its freshness even in warm climates. About The Producer
Named after their own town, Barolo wine was created in the historic cellars of Marchesi di Barolo. Thanks to Giulia di Barolo, who recognized the soils and microclimate of her home vineyards, she was the first to make Nebbiolo grapes into the Barolo we know now, rather than in the form of a sweet, sparkling wine. Giulia build new cellars to make wine in large casks, some of which are still used today almost 5 centuries later.
