2022 Maison Noir "New Noir" (Willamette Valley, OR) 4W

Enjoy a harmonious equilibrium of raspberry jam, peach compote, and a subtle hint of citrus fruit. The finish reveals a hint of salinity, likely influenced by the proximity of these vines to the Pacific Ocean.

    About The Varietal

    Edelzwicker

Edelzwicker is an Alsatian wine term taken from the German words “edel” meaning noble and “wicker” meaning blend. Dating back to 1644, Edelzwicker blends consist of the “noble” varieties Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, and Muscat. This term, now used more for nostalgia rather than a legislative requirement, has been adopted within the United States and Australia, outside of Alsace.

    About The Producer

    Maison Noir

Founded in 2007 by sommelier Andre Hueston Mack, Maison Noir was initially created as unique and distinctive “garage wines” for some of New York’s best restaurants for whom Mack was a sommelier. Now available nationwide, these wines are meant to be fun, easy drinking, and not taken too seriously! (PS. Check out their Merch!!)
