Two gentlemen only growing only native varieties, brought back Red Misket, a difficult to grow grape variety that is prone to mold, from the edge of extinction. Grown on limestone soils and a looks a lot like riesling on gewürztraminer in the vineyard, this variety is aromatic with a body that reminds you a bit of Chardonnay or Chenin Blanc. 2014 was the first vintage and they continue to push the boundaries, why not?
