2022 Clos Cibonne "Cuvee Speciale des Vignettes" Tibouren Rose (Cotes de Provence, FR) 4P

Clos Cibonne's renowned Cuvée Spéciale des Vignettes stands out as a classic and exceptional Côtes de Provence rosé, distinguished by its use of the Tibouren grape. Esteemed by seasoned French wine enthusiasts for its rich texture, substantial character, and remarkable aging potential of a decade or more. This limited edition wine is crafted exclusively from the estate's oldest Tibouren vines, aged over 60 years and grown organically. Vignettes typically outlasts other Cibonne cuvées, rewarding over a decade of cellaring with impeccable balance, freshness, structural integrity, and remarkable drinkability.

    About The Varietal

    Tibouren

Tibouren is a black-skinned grape variety cultivated in Provence, southern France. Primarily used for crafting full-bodied rosé wines with an earthy bouquet, Tibouren is often blended with varieties like Grenache and Cinsault to create the characteristic rosés of the Provencal regions. Some producers, however, opt to make varietal wines exclusively from the Tibouren grape.
