Sunshine of the Château Pegau, the Cuvée Lône white is a reflection of spring in the Rhône Valley with floral scents. It offers a delicacy of the fruit nourished by the southern sun. Vinified in stainless steel vats, the mostly Clairette blend cuvee developed in the traditional savoir faire reveals the character of the clay soils and citrus note resulting from the presence of Ugni Blanc in the grape varieties.
About The Varietal
Bourboulenc is an ancient white grape variety primarily cultivated in the southern regions of France. Although it is fairly widespread, it is primarily employed as a component in blended wines. When vinified on its own, Bourboulenc yields wines with citrusy notes and can exhibit a hint of smoky, spicy intricacy.
