Chris Brockway's winemaking journey began with California Zinfandel, leading him to California from Omaha, Nebraska. However, he found that California wines had shifted towards a "bigger is better" mentality, which didn't align with his personal preferences. Disillusioned by the trend of high alcohol and overpowering flavors, Chris believed in a different approach to California wine. From humble beginnings with a single barrel in 2002 to now producing over 20 different wine releases annually, Broc Cellars creates fresh and vibrant California wines for enjoyment at any occasion.
