Founded in Healdsburg in 2001 by childhood friends Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Lee Roberts, Arnot-Roberts began with just one barrel of wine made in their basement. Sourcing grapes from remarkable vineyards across California, Duncan and Nathan's upbringing in Napa Valley instilled in them a deep appreciation for agrarian life and winemaking. Nathan became a cooper of oak wine barrels, following in his father's footsteps, while Duncan honed his winemaking skills in renowned wineries in Napa and Sonoma counties. Arnot-Roberts focuses on producing distinctive, site-driven wines that reflect the unique terroirs of Northern California, sourcing grapes from vineyards in Napa Valley, Sonoma Coast, Santa Cruz Mountains, Santa Rita Hills, Clearlake, and Sierra Foothills. Single-vineyard wines are the cornerstone of their production, complemented by appellation bottlings that showcase their origins.
