Wines made from Favorita grapes are renowned for their pronounced pear aromas and tend to mature more quickly compared to Arneis. These grapes typically ripen later and retain a good level of acidity. Traditionally, Favorita has been utilized alongside Nebbiolo in blends to soften the tannins characteristic of Nebbiolo grapes. When grown in warmer climates, Favorita can develop mineral notes and hints of sea salt. Aging in oak barrels can impart a smoother texture to the wine.
