2021 Field Recordings Dry Hop Pet Nat (Paso Robles, CA)

The result of an experiment expected to go awry, this unique sparkling wine ended up being so delicious that the winemakers decided to bottle and sell it despite only producing a limited quantity. Think your favorite IPA, plus light fruit like gooseberry and pear, plus the eminently refreshing quality that only a pet-nat can offer. Snag one while we’ve got ‘em!

    About The Varietal

    Chardonnay

Chardonnay, possibly the most famous among white grape varieties, is frequently regarded as reaching its peak expression in its Burgundian birthplace. However, this grape has journeyed across the globe, and Chardonnay wines, ranging from outstanding to less inspiring, can now be discovered in various wine-producing regions worldwide.

    About The Producer

    Field Recordings

Winemaker Andrew Jones has a talent for discovering hidden gems—vineyards that are often overlooked but have immense potential. He focuses on crafting distinctive wines full of character and individuality. As a vine nursery fieldman, Andrew spends his days planning and planting vineyards across California, and occasionally, farmers offer him small lots of their finest fruit. With experience in nearly every vineyard on the Central Coast, he is passionate about finding and nurturing these underappreciated sites. Andrew creates limited amounts of soulful wine through his connections and opportunities from these unique, often unheralded vineyards.
