About The Varietal

There are few names in the Northern Rhone wine world as respected as Alain Graillot. In 1985, the late, legendary, Alain Graillot returned to his roots in Crozes-Hermitage after having previously worked in collaboration with Jacques Seysses at Domaine Dujac, to establish his own winery. Alain's commitment was present in every bottle he touched, creating captivatingly delicious Syrah in his organically cultivated, stony vineyards. Since 2008, Alain's sons Maxim and Antoine have taken the reins, carrying on the legacy established by their father. We believe many things at The Urban Grape, and one of them is that everything the Graillot family touches is gold!
