The 2020 vintage was marked by a relatively mild winter in terms of temperature. Spring brought ample rainfall, and the summer temperatures remained moderate without excessive heat. Towards the end of the season, close to harvest time, rainfall influenced the commencement of picking. In these climatic conditions, early bud break occurred, veraison progressed evenly across all vineyard parcels, and the grapes achieved optimal phenolic ripeness, leading to wines with lower alcohol content. Despite the potential risk of disease, the grapes exhibited exceptional health. Wines from the 2020 vintage are characterized by intense aromatic profiles and a smooth palate.
