2020 Catena Adrianna Vineyard "White Stones" Chardonnay (Mendoza, AR) 6W

This chardonnay is truly a work of art- grapes are grown in poor rocky soil that forces the vines to dig for nutrients, resulting in a uniquely delicious wine. The wine shows abundant notes of navel orange, apricot, and charred herbs with good minerality throughout.

    About The Varietal

    Chardonnay

Chardonnay, possibly the most famous among white grape varieties, is frequently regarded as reaching its peak expression in its Burgundian birthplace. However, this grape has journeyed across the globe, and Chardonnay wines, ranging from outstanding to less inspiring, can now be discovered in various wine-producing regions worldwide.

    About The Producer

    Catena Adrianna

Named after Nicolas Catena's youngest daughter, Adrianna Vineyard has been the source of some of Argentina's finest wines. Own-rooted, imported before the phylloxera outbreak even began, the vines are exclusive to the Catena family. Planted at around 5,000 feet, Malbec and Chardonnay from the site have characteristics that speak to the elegant coupling of land and varietal, with the best lots and rows identified to make the finest wines possible
