About The Varietal
Kisi is a white grape variety used in the Georgian Republic. This ancient grape is experiencing a resurgence from the brink of extinction. Kisi wines are crafted in both modern European and traditional Georgian styles, often using kvevri earthenware jars to create amber-colored wines. Additionally, fortified versions are produced, and Kisi grapes are valued for grape juice and as table grapes.
