    6R

Warmer growing regions, fully ripened grapes, extended barrel-aging add to the wine’s body

*6R* 1998 Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley, CA)

This ruby-hued wine presents a bouquet dominated by dark cherry and plum notes, accompanied by nuances of blackberry, vanilla, black tea, and hints of gingerbread spice. On the palate, a subtle touch of leather complements the richly concentrated flavors of raspberry, blackberry, and dried cherry, leading to a finale graced by the presence of exotic vanilla beans. The wine maintains an elegant equilibrium thanks to its refreshing acidity and supple, well-integrated tannins. Notably, this vintage continues to age gracefully, displaying an abundance of fruit character even at this stage.

    About The Varietal

    Cabernet Sauvignon

Frequently linked with Bordeaux wine blends and Napa Valley, Cabernet Sauvignon is a grape variety that has achieved global popularity. This is largely attributed to its coveted blend of black fruit scents, firm tannins, and vibrant acidity.
