About The Varietal
Grillo is a white grape variety native to Sicily, and it gained prominence for its contribution to fortified Marsala wines. Although Marsala wine has become less fashionable, Grillo continues to be extensively cultivated on the island. Nowadays, it is predominantly utilized in the production of a range of still white wines, including both varietal and blended options.
