2018 Phil Long Reserve Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (Alexander Valley, CA) 8R

If you've ever enjoyed the Longevity wines, you may know the name Phil Long, president of the Association of African American Vintners and the founder of Longevity Wines. Phil Long's Reserve Wines should be on the table at your next celebration. The Alexander Valley Cabernet bursts with unrestrained aromas of plump, ripe blackberries, cherries and earthy herbs. The palate is inviting featuring fully ripened, juicy fruit, mocha and vanilla. The tannins are silky smooth, finishing off a glass of this delectable cabernet before reaching for another.

    About The Varietal

    Cabernet Sauvignon

Frequently linked with Bordeaux wine blends and Napa Valley, Cabernet Sauvignon is a grape variety that has achieved global popularity. This is largely attributed to its coveted blend of black fruit scents, firm tannins, and vibrant acidity.

    About The Producer

    Phil Long / Longevity

Phil Long is not only the founder of Longevity, but he is also the president of the Association of African American Vintners (AAAV). Long developed his brand in memory of his late wife, Debra, to inspire others through their experience as an interracial couple focused on inclusivity in the wine industry. Though Debra lost her battle with pancreatic cancer in 2019, Phil designed Longevity's heart logo in her honor.
